Hershel is sent into a tailspin over the news of his daughter Hannah’s engagement to a non-Jewish boy. Hannah is furious with his reaction while her fiancé is compelled to win the old man over. He soon does, to great success, leaving Hannah to wonder if they were all better off when the men in her life were sworn enemies.
